Nine years already?

I created Roysters NC in 2017 while living in Greenville North Carolina. My how time flies when you are having fun. My career as an oysterman has been quite an experience so far. I look forward to another year or two before retiring. The winter weather gets harder to tolerate the older I get. I had the pleasure of meeting so many new people this year between the Olde Beaufort Farmers Market and my part time job on Island Express Ferry Service. We finally had a good crop of pecans this year. First time in four years our trees produced some nice meaty pecans. Let's not forget the oysters, they are showing green gills now that we are in winter. I think they taste a little sweeter this time of year. I promise to update more this year. Royster
